Zuniga history

I am searching for the history of my great-great grandmother. I am told by my mother that her name was "Mariquita". She married one gentleman and that man passed away. The second man she married was Zuniga and from that marriage came my great grandfather and from him came my grandfather Alejandro Zuniga.

I understand she passed away somewhere in the south of San Antonio area. Close to the Braunig Lake area or there abouts. I have been trying and so have other family members tried to identify what tribe we are from. Due to my great-great grandmother's family dying in a fire in their village, at this point we have never found out what tribe she was from. We understand she was full-blooded Native American but all else has been very gray after that.

Time has not offered itself that I would be able to go and speak to peope and ask about her passing or her life. I understand she passed away in Graytown Texas. Which is the south of San Antonio, Texas. I hope someone can help me with this.

Thanks a million and God Richly Bless you.
