John,
Okay let's see if I can give any more info.I think I am getting confused.I don't have any prove of Ulrich being lHans son.Just what I have gathered from other researchers and myself I have always felt that he had to be the grandson not the son.As far as proof of his being the son of Hans, Jr. I don't there either.I just sort of made an assumptions that since he couldn't be the son of lHans he might be the son of Hans, Jr.However, after reviewing the info I see that the dates don't quite match there either. So perhaps it is as you suspect that Ulrich was the son of Peter, son of lHans. That seems to fit for the time being.
As to the name of Veronica Yoder I'm not positive but I think that came from Harry D. Zook's book.I wasn't the best in the beginning of my research with making notes of where I got my info.I do have a page out of Harry's book that mentions a John Yoder.Page 36 of his book states that "On June 13, 1734 Peter "Chook" joined with John Yoder and other settlers in a petition for a new township.Do you have info on this John Yoder.I assume you do since you are a descendant of theirs.I need to go back to the library and look through Harry Zook's book again.
If I skipped any of your questions ask again please.Maybe some day some other researcher will chime in and help us here.
