Hello!
I have recently learned that my mother was adopted and that her birth parents were by the name of Zortman and Jorgenson. My mother is now passed away as are her parents, and I don't have any other information than that. I was wondering what nationality Zortman is. I was also hoping that someone might know of an adoption that took place in Chicago around May 31, 1936. My mother was a redhead with blue eyes and freckels, which might help narrow things down a bit.
