This is a guess and a bit of wishful thinking: My family name is Zornow. It is not German, I'm told. Beyond that it is believed to be an "Eastern" name. Probably from Prussia of Poland. We were probably refuges from Napoleon's wars in 1823 +/_. We expect no solid trail beyond the mid 1850's. If you wish continued dialog from our camp please reply. Anyone with knowledge of the name, please tell us what you know. Thanks
