A very pretty wedding took place in St. Gabriel’s Catholic church at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning, April 16th, when Miss Adelaine Toussaint, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Toussaint, became the bride of Leander Zins, son of Mrs. Cornelius Zins. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Meyer, and the Junior choir of the church sang.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Florence Toussaint, who wore a dress of medium blue taffeta made ankle length. The bodice was fashioned with a square neck line and short puffed sleeves; she wore a blue finger tip veil and carried an arm bouquet of roses, sweet peas and swansonia.
The bride wore a gown of white satin made on princess lines with a yoke trimming of lace, and long sleeves. She wore a finger tip veil and her shower bouquet was or roses, snapdragons and swansonia.
The groom was attended by his brother, John Zins, as best man.
After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s mother for relatives and the bridal party. Later in the afternoon a reception was held and supper served to a large party of neighbors and friends.
For the present, Mr. and Mrs. Zins will live at the home of the groom’s mother."
