After a recent search for family members, I found this funeral notice in the Fitchburg, (Mass.) Sentinel, November 3, 1904:
The funeral of Henry Zink, a former resident of Fitchburg, was held from his late home in Bolton, Sunday morning at 9 o'clock.Interment was in Boylston cemetery.Besides a young wife, the deceased leaves a mother, four sisters and three brothers.The bearers were Charles Goodwin, Charles Zink, John Kiessling, Ludwig Baer, William Ostertag and Victor Dolan.The floral tributes were Pillow of roses from wife; Mrs. Barbara Zink and family, wreath of roses; Mr. and Mrs. Hanscom, pinks, Mr. Baer and Family, spray of pinks, Mrs Catherine Goodwin, 25 pinks, Miss Mammie Bennett pinks; Mr. and Mrs. Freitag, spray of carnations, Mr. and Mrs Kiessling spray of roses, Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Goodwin, wreath of roses; Miss Maggie Shaller, spray of carnations, Mrs. Kauptvogel, 25 pinks, Mr. and Mrs. John Zinz, carnations, William Ostertag, basket of roses; Mrs. Adam Zink, pinks; Charles Goodwin, pinks, Mrs. William Fay, pinks; Mr. and Mrs. Popp cut flowers, Mr. McWilliams, spray of evergreens and cut flowers.
So, there could very well be a connection.
