Our family is still searching for Gottlieb Ziegenfuss, b. ca. 1821/23 at Leipzig, Prussia. He brought his family to Texas ca. 1885. We cannot link this line by paper to any other lines in the U.S. or in Germany.
We are attempting to tie the branches of the Ziegenfuss' (and all spelling variations) together with a Y-DNA surname project through FTDNA.
