I think the name you a referencing might be Samuel? I find Samuel Zettlemoyar, wife Leah in the 1850 census for Windsor Twp. The 1860 census lists his name as Sol? This is either an abbrev for Samuel, or the 1850 listing is wrong. In either case the families are the same. I am also researching this family through Samuel's (or Solomon's) daughter Rebecca b 1844, married Benjamin Mengle b. 1840. Would be interested in anything you have found regarding Samuel's ancestry.
