My ancestor is Theresa Zettelmoyer, daughter of Adam and Maria (Miller) Zettelmoyer. I have assembled bits and pieces which seem to lead to Jacob Zettlemeier. The early Palatine group, however, makes a mess of names by making the middle name the differentiating feature. Early immigration and census takers also "killed" the last name.

What help can you give me?
