Zachariah Zerkel was my great-grandfather, and the Tressie in the picture was my grand-mother. Harriett Elsie was the eldest born in 1882. She went by the name Elsie and was married to Bert Lutz. She died in 1971. Tressie Catherine was born 18 May 1885, married Rudolph Cook in 1905, lived in Mad River Township,Champaign County,Ohio all her life.
She was the mother of 9 living children, my mother being number 8. Tressie died 30 Dec 1977 in an auto accident at the age of 92.
