Hi Sarah,
My name is Lisa (Zerkel) Perkins. Your great gandmother Opal is my aunt. Her husband Aldon was my dad's brother. I have been trying to figure out who your parents would be. Is your dad Bradley Zerkel and your grandfather Marvin Zerkel or are you from Jack's family? Uncle Aldon, your great grandfather, came from Buckland, Ohio and that is where the Zerkel relatives all lived. As far as I know, he was the only Zerkel from our family that lived in Indiana. My dad lived their before WW2, but only for a few years. I have a 15 year old and a 13 year old, both daughters. I live in Traverse City, Michigan.
