Please contact me about your ZERKEL genealogy search.
I have all the records of the Chicago Zerkels, though a bit shy about the McMahons. Much of it can be easily E-Mailed to you. The Zerkels moved to Chicago from Bourbon, Indiana, about 1898 when our grandmother needed better hospital attention than was available locally. The Zerkels then lived about 38th and LaSalle St. in Chicago. Fern had a sister, Irma, and a brother, Raymond, my father. We lived in the Englewood district on the south side of Chicago. I have many fond memories of visiting the McMahon residence on Grand Ave. near Racine ST. on Chicago's near north side.
I live near Lk. Geneva, Wisconsin.
