Thanks for the obit... but it raises a question? It mentions his children, Tom, Kelly, and Darin? You're earlier email lead me to believe those were his brothers and sisters, rather than your brothers and sisters? So which is it?

I have a friend checking on a Lima newspaper article... it mentions Mrs. Franklin Zerbe, Mrs. John C. Zerbe, Mrs. John Zerbe, Art?, Joseph Zerbe, Mrs. Ralph Zerbe, and Mrs. Raymond Zerbe....

I recognize Franklin, John C., Ralph and Raymond as part of the Zerbe line I mentioned earlier.... so I'm wondering if this might be "your" Joseph? I also have a friend who's related way more closely to this branch than I am... although I think I eventually provided her with 90 percent of the info she has on this line, but I will double check and see if she recognizes Joseph.

There are some other newspaper articles that have Joseph Zerbe's in them....

1950 Marriage of Joseph Zerbe and Ava Cash

1957 Joseph E. Zerbe marries Shirley Clinehens of Sidney, Ohio

Several mentions of a Joseph Zerbe who lived at 322 W. Spring street in Lima?

Joseph Zerbe of W Spring street won first prize in a newspaper contest.

A Joseph Zerbe of Dayton, Ohio who had a sister, Mrs. Carl Sieving who may have been living at the 322 W. Spring street address in Lima?

*** Do you know if your Joseph lived in Dayton in 1958? ***
(I'll try and check a few Dayton city directories and see what I can find)

In 1960 and 1964 a Joseph Zerbe of Fort Wayne, Indiana, had his car broken into and items stolen.

These articles could refer to 3-4 different Joseph Zerbe's.... hard to tell... I'm hoping to get the full text of the ones that look like they might have the most information.
