Hello,
No, he wasn't born in 1960 but lived in the Lima area at that time. I, myself, was born in 1964. He was born in 1935...I believe. Here's his obit below. I corrected my city on there since it was listed wrong.
I can't ask aunts and uncles because my parents were married only briefly (I believe my mother was wife #6) and I only met Joseph Zerbe briefly when I was 17 and 18.

Mr. Joseph Earl Zerbe, age 66, of Suwanee, Georgia, and formerly of Lima, OH, died on August 23, 2001. Surviving are: Wife of 35 years, Mrs. Anita F. Zerbe, of Suwanee, GA; sons, Darin Zerbe of Coconut Creek, FL., Thomas J. Zerbe of Melbourne, FL; daughters, Kelly Benning of Springfield, OH., Tammy Cedgren of Red Wing, MN; four grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Mr. Zerbe was a native of Ohio. He was retired from Southern Flooring as Financial Credit Manager in Tucker, GA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Catholic faith. He received his education in Lima, Ohio. A memorial service will be later. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, GA. 30097 in memory of Mr. Joseph Earl Zerbe.
