Hi... I'm taking your message to mean that your father was born around 1960?, his sister around 1960, and his brother around 1970? Unfortunately that makes them all too young to get any help from the census. I'm only aware of one Zerbe family in Lima in the 1900's (but there could be some I don't know about)... The family I know of is that of Ralph Clifford Zerbe (1906-1991)... he had a son, Ralph Jr, a daughter, Shirley, and two sisters, Mary and Bonnie, and a brother, Raymond... Unfortunately I don't list descendants for either Ralph or Raymond... I do know that Ralph had 11 grand-kids... he was married in 1930... so his grand-kids would have been born mostly in the late 1950's or 1960's... I don't seem to be spotting Joseph in the Social Security Death Index.... and the ancestry.com Ohio Death Index only goes up to 2000 I think and it sounds like Joseph died a couple years later than that? I have asked the Zerbe mailing list I'm on if they recognize Joseph (haven't heard from them yet)... I may also be able to check some Lima newspapers for obits... Are your aunts and uncles not able to provide their father and grandfather's names? That'd make it way easier for you to identify your ancestors?
