Hello! I am researching the family history of my Dad, Hemmit Lamar Zerbe. He raised me since I was about 2 years old and he passed away 2 years ago. His father was Henry Zerbe and Mother Naomi Hand Zerbe. I would love to hear from others out there who have information on my Dad and his family history. He told me before he passed away that his entire family history was written down in the family bible that belonged to his mother. It was an old German bible (written in German) and she could read it. He didn't know whatever became of the bible after she passed away but he told me that Henry found her in her chair with the bible open which she was reading when she passed away. I have more information and photos to share with anyone who is also researching this family. Anyway, I sent e-mails out today to a couple of you that have posted on this board but do not know if you will recieve them as your e-mail address' may be outdated since you posted. That is why I decided just to do this post. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
