I poked around the Blue Book... didn't find anybody you mentioned... found one Zerbe/Batdorf marriage, but not your pair...

I didn't look at Rootsweb.... Mark Zerbe's old database is posted there... he was sort of the collection point for most Zerbe stuff until we lost him a couple years ago....

Not familiar with this line... may or may not connect to my Zerbe line which appears to go back to Martin (1640) and Anna Elisabetha ? (1644)...

my 3g-grandmother was Alvina Zerbe, married William Henry Covill 9/17/1843 in Shelby Co Ohio
