Doubt there was a dropped z (Zentz)...could your source document for this have indicated the ending "z" in error? Also the date of 1828 would be roughly a generation off for my "great" grandfather and I would put his date of birth closer to 1875 to 1878. Don't know that he wasn't a namesake of "his" father (my great-great) who would have been born in the early 1800's? Do you have an area or county in Ohio in your records for the Fredick born in 1828? Do know that my grandfather had only 1 sibling (brother) and I don't recongnize the other names you mentioned.
