I guess we are related! Clara (Long) Zellmer was the daughter of George Long. George was the younger brother of Michael Long b. 1860. Michael and George's parents were Joseph Long (also spelled Lang) and Veronica Alft. Michael Long married Bridget Flanagan of Bear Creek. They were the parents of my father's mother, Anne Helen Long Stelter.
I have a detailed genealogy of the Alft family done many years ago that I will share if you wish. I also have some info on the Longs.
As far as the Zellmers go...there were many in central Wisconsin, some in Tomah and a number in Crystal Lake.
