Just recently, I discovered that my great grandfather Friedrich Feldhahn came from Germany with his family in 1883 with a family named Zellmer. The Feldhahns and Zellmers settled in Iowa and then in Staton Co., Nebraska. Currently, my sisters and I are researching the huge connection between the Zellmers and the Feldhahns. The old church records always show them together, the oldest feldhahn daughter, Mary, married a Zellmer and my grandfather is buried next to a Zellmer instead of his own wife. I will keep you posted.
