Belinda:
It is fair to say that all the FLISHER folk are connected with
the County of Kent roots, but with a strong appearance in Devon & Dorset, and many were mariners.

My George Flisher was George John Flisher, born about 1870
in the Plymouth region of Devon, but in 1891, he was residing in
Weymouth, Dorset. In 1881, he can be found in Greater London
visiting where is widowed mother was working.

After, 1891, George got married in Devon. I believe at various times, his family name was incorrectly recorded in Census records as Flesher or Fisher. His sister, resided in Weymouth, and was residing, I think with an aunt (I think Lydia (White) Simpson).

Where did your George Flisher reside?
