Trying to get some verification of Johann Frederick Pontius c.1717 ancestry: I have it as: Peter 1702< Peter 1685< Nickel 1632< Velton 1608< Niclas 1570 Quite a long period for Nickel 16342 to be father of Peter 1685.
Also, is Johan Frederick brother to Nicholas 1762, married to Anna Kremer?
I am related to Anna Catherine Zeller Pontius through her brother J. George Zeller c.1725 married to Maria Haas. This line becomes Katterman, then Fetter(s) in Tulpehocken and Lancaster, PA by 1800.
