Here is some background on my family.
"Fred was born in Barnskuno, Germany in 1881, the oldest of three children. He had emigrated to Greenwood, Wisconsin as a young boy with his family in 1888. Fred’s father, Frederick Zell (September 26, 1861 - August 19, 1931), had been a soldier in the Prussian Army. Fred’s mother was Johanna Louisa Bussian (1859 - 1917). Fred left home at an early age to find work, among which was logging in Brainerd Minnesota. During his travels spent some time in Royalton, Minnesota where he met Jane Boyle."
I am wondering if anyone out there has any more info Fred's family and where Barnskuno Germany is? I can't seem to find any info on Barnskuno.
