Colonel Thomas Ellwood Zell was a publisher. He was best know for Zell's Encyclopedia, which was published in the 1800's. I have several editions and they are beautiful.
Col Zell donated family history papers to the Library of Congress and to the Lancaster County Historical Socioty.
He also founded "Zellwood", a small town just North of Orlando Fla.There is a bar called "Zelly's" that any Zell descendent should visit!
Thomas Ellwood Zell was brother to my ancestor. Would love to share family history with anyone related.
Christopher Zell
