I am also searching for Ziemann ancestors and I have some interesting information that might help you.

According to my records, My maternal grandfather's brother, John Edward Ziemann,
b. 6 October, 1872, had a son named John Robert Ziemann (b. 1895 in Preston, Ontario,
d. 1972.) He had three daughters: Pat Hughes (Willowdale, Ontario), Frances Mortimer , Johannesburg, S. Africa, and Joanne (Steffes??(Windsor,Ontario).QUITA22456@aol.com
