Jay, I am descended from David, Adam, Peter,Issac, Benjamin, Joseph and Ruth. I had quite a bit of information, but was not aware that Adam was born in Hamburg. According to our family history book, he was from the Schwarzwald which is considerably south of Hamburg. It begins in the state of Wuerttemburg and goes south. Do you have a copy of his birth record? If so, I would appreciate the information on how to obtain a copy for my records. I lived in Karlsruhe, Bad Wuerttemburg for 4 years and didn't realize that David and Sabine had lived near to there. You know what they say about hindsight.
