Pascal,
My Zehener ancestors in Germany came from Neckarkreis in Baden Wurttemburt. They were David and Sabine Mertz Zehner. Their son Johann Adam Zehner came to America in 1745 and settled in Pennsylvania. His wife was Maria Catherine Mertz, whose family was already here. I do not have the information on when the Mertz family arrived but will let you know when I find it.
