A Jacob Zebley b. 1804 in DE had a wife and child in DE and in 1826, the wife was killed in their home by a robber. The robber was apprehended and executed. However, no one knows what happened to Jacob or the baby. Could he have married Cartherine Watson sopon after and move up to Philadelphia? Was their first baby really the baby by Jacob and former wife? Just puzzling. Some believe Jacob was son of Jacob and Wilhelmina Hess Zebley in Philadelphia, but I doubt it.
