From Zebley Book: John Felix Zebley, son of Jacob and Elizabeth Neff Zebley was born 1720 and died 1782. Family Bible had been lost and records of his birth were burned with other records by the British. However, his will was probated June 8,1782 and is located in Dover DE Hall of records. From the will his children: John, Rachel, dorothea, Owen , Ann, James William. Some of them may have been born before he came to America.
Elizabeth Neff was the daughter of rudolph and Anna Neff emigrated from Switzerland by way of Holland to Germantown (Philadelphia) Jac. and Eliz. came on the Bitish Crown Colny oa PA well before1770.
A Jacob Zebley (the fourth)along with Rudolph Neff and others founded the Frankford German Reformed Church in Phildelphia (corner of Paul and Church Streets)in 1770.
We are updating the book by Dr. Joseph Zebley copyright 1976. Hope this is some help and if I can be of any more help please write. Thank you.
