Hello Tim, Most people who assume GenForum is for just one country live in the US; the people from the UK, Canada, Australia and NZ mention the country. So, I looked on http://directory.superpages.com/people.jsp?SRC= for you. there are 236 ZEBLEY entries. There are none for the name "Tim" or "Cindy" but one for "T." and 6 for "C.". If you are in the US, you might repeat my search with a state or even a town within a state, using the "nearby areas" option, then call the people to see if they were related. If you not in the US, there are web sites with nation-wide telephone directories for you too; I just don't have them handy in my "favourites". I changed the heading of your post to give more information. Someone may see it. Google has a whole category devoted to re-uniting people at http://directory.google.com/Top/Home/Family/Adoption/Search_and_Reunion/Registries/ It is for adoptees, but a lot of abandoned or separated children use it. If your father is alive, and if he uses the Internet, and if he is looking for you, he may have registered somewhere. Those are three big IF's; the last is the biggest. I answer posts on GenForum instead of doing cross-word puzzles. I find real people more interesting than a four-letter word for beasts of burden. I see a lot of posts like yours - hundreds - and very few responses. I have only seen a post from a birth father looking for his children twice. I'm sorry to be so negative. I wish you well.
