Looking for more info and parents of Elizabeth ZIBLEY born about 1806 in PA, who married first an unknown SMITH in PA and had a son William L. SMITH b. about 1830. She married/2 William LAWRENCE, April 14, 1837 in Vevay, Switzerland Co., Indiana. Marriage certificate says "Mrs. Elizabeth ZIBLEY SMITH." Son William L. SMITH and William LAWRENCE partnered as dry goods merchants in 1851 in Vevay and in Carrolton, Carrol Co., KY. Elizabeth, also enumerated as Eliza, last appears in 1860 census of Carrollton Co., KY with husband William LAWRENCE and son William L. SMITH. William L. Smith died Feb. 1895 in Carrolton. He married Gertrude ??. William LAWRENCE was born in Philadelphia, PA., Aug. 10, 1799 and died Jan. 14, 1889 in Vevay, Indiana. Could she be related to ZEBLEYS in Philadelphia? However her son, Theodore C. LAWRENCE b. Mar. 19, 1838, Vevay, IN named his first son DUNBAR SIBLEY LAWRENCE, b. 1857 in Carrolton, KY.
