Do you know if it was 'common' or 'normal' for women to marry french men at that time/in that area? My grandmother is Santana C. Zavala (07/26/1912-08/18/2007). She went by the name Anita. She had a sister who passed when they were young. My great grandmother remarried a french man when my grandmother was young. I don't remember his name. My great grandmother had and her new husband had a couple of children. (I think my grandmother's biological father's name was Valentino.)
