My line is the Schenk family from Knetzgau on the Main River. One of my ggmother's sisters, Kunegunde married a Zapf. I believe she was born sometime between 1845 and 1877 in Knetzgau to Nickolas (Sr.) and Katharina (Weigand) Schenk.
We have her in our tree as having married an unknown man named Zapf. Do not know if she married in Germany or, possibly, after coming to US. A number of her siblings settled in St. Louis, Missouri.
