I am descendent (gg grandson) of Conrad Zapf. He was married 1834 in the Lutheran Church in Cumberland, Md. in 1834. Allegany Cty census of 1850, etc. list him as from Bavaria. Also could have been Johan Conrad Zapf. Much on internet concerning descendents of Daniel Zapf (Sapp) who passed through Allegany Cty Md. in the mid and late 1700's and early 1800's. I don't think that Conrad was of the Daniel Zapf (Sapp) family as the census lists him "Bavaria". Anyone know of Conrad Zapf, brothers, sisters, etc.?
