We are suppose to be related to Zane Grey as well. Our Zane connection is Nancy Zane who married John Reed (son of John Reed and Ruth Tharp. Nancy's parents were Mary Stephenson and Isaac Zane. She was born in Logon Co, Ohio in 1808. They were with a group of Baptists that left V.A. in the early 1800's and went to Ohio then on to Cass Co. Mich. Nancy Zanne died in Cass Co. Mich. They had David who was my ggrandfather. Tom Reed p.s. other names in the group were Tharp, Marmon, Grubb, Parker,and Sctt
