I am descended from a woman named Druzella Zane. I cannot find any information on her. Family legend has it that she was Native American, which ties easily into the Zane family.
She married Samuel Carson and they lived in Delaware County, Ohio. After he died around 1852, she remarried. My now deceased grandmother recalls people talking about her living in the county home in her old age. She died 8 Feb 1891 in Delaware County, Ohio. She was supposed to be 90 when she died, so her birth was around 1800. I cannot verify this information.
Please help! Any info on Zanes is appreciated.
