Looking for information on Friedrich Zander (1818-1887) and his wife Maria Holtfreder Zander (1820-1903). Emigrated from Vorpommern in possibly the early 1870s and settled in Rochester, Monroe Co. NY. They were parishioners at Zion Lutheran in Rochester.
Their daughter, Maria Zander (1843-1887), married my great-great grandfather, Christopher Jess (1837-1903). Their daughter, Emma Jess (1866-1924), married my great-grandfather Johann Kerber(1860-1922).
Family names are Kerber, Jess, Sodemann, and Schult primarily.
