Hi Linda.I presume you're sending the message from NZ? This Johann is most likely Johann Augsut Zander, born Tuchheim, Germany on 30-12-1865. He arrived in Australia in 1877 and married Anna Elizabeth Klitcher in 1887 in Eudunda, South Australia. They moved to NZ, where Johann died in Marton on 2-12-1945.
I got this from a relative of theirs. It's possible that there is a family connection to "my" NZ Zanders, but it's not obvious. Send me your email address if you want to pursue,
