Maria Anita ZAMORA, early 1800's, S. TX.

This is a shot in the dark, but who knows? If anyone has any connections, please e-mail me personally at thebarriers@worldnet.att.net and/or reply to this post.

Maria Anita ZAMORA and Margarita ZAMORA were sisters, probably born in the early 1800's at one of the missions in San Antonio (d-oh! Can't remember!). Their mother was Maria MARTINEZ ZAMORA-- my grandfather says that she was actually Indian and adopted by the Martinezes and raised at the mission (of which I can't remember the name! I need to call my grandfather...)

Anyway, Maria Anita ZAMORA married Nabor MARTINEZ (probably a cousin; he was born in 1835). For more info on their children, see my post at the MARTINEZ GenForum.

Thanks!
