I'm with Mike and Ann! I know that my family's name changed from Junker to Yunker. Many others may not know that and are only looking for Yunker. Rick.. go get a life... and quit worrying about this particular surname forum!

My lineage is as follows:

Henry and Mary Junker arrived in Oregon from Germany in approximately 1880. Their son Henry was born in the Eifel region of Germany
in 1869. The family migrated between Mt. Angel, Oregon and Newton, Kansas. Henry and Mary Junker are buried in Mt. Angel, Oregon.
Their son Henry YUNKER is buried in Newton Kansas with his wife Katherine Brandeweide. If you have any information on this family.. please contact me at csafieddine@xenogen.com
