Hi, my name is Lisa Goins. I have determined that my geneology line is Christopher Columbus Yow, Sr. and Jr., Andrew Yow, Henry Yow, Matthew Christenberry Yow, William Henry Yow, Nancy Mariah "Mae" Yow Ward, James Bickett Ward and Elaine Ward Hunt, then me. I have photos of Henry Yow's tombstone. I also have photos of his wife, Nancy Elizabeth's tombstone. I have photos of tombstones of S.J. Yow and wife M.E. Yow, two of their children, Nancy Yow, Mary Jane Yow Hayes, her husband at Shiloh or Fairgrove Methodist. I attended the William Henry Yow reunion at the beginning of October, 2007 at Shiloh Baptist Church. I took a photo of the church and many of the attendees. If anyone has a copy of the ship manifest for Molley I would love a copy. Also if anyone has any information of the link between Christopher Columbus Yow and Hans Yow please let me know. I know from going to the Randolph Room in Randolph County, North Carolina that there is a collection of letters from Matthew Christenberry Yow to his wife and children during the Civil War in which he was killed. If anyone has copies of those I would like to add copies to my collection. My grandfather has the William Henry Yow family bible but there is not very much information in it. William Henry was the oldest child of Matthew Christenberry Yow. If anyone can share any information with me please reply to lisa.goins@gmail.com.
Thanks so much. Lisa Ruth Hunt Wain Goins
