I think we have hit a connection through Murfreesboro, Tenn. My GGGGrandfather was Jesse Youree of Murfreesboro, TN. That is as far back as I go. His wife was Mary Hart. Their son was William Hart Youree, also of Murfreesboro. His wife was Mary Carnaham (her parents were Robert Carnaham and Mary McClure). Their son was Jesse Youree who was born in Murfreesboro. Jesse migrated to Jackson county Missouri. He joined the Confederacy with two of his Youree Cousins (so there were more Youree's). He was captured and held in a prisoner of war camp in the North and so badly treated that he did not fully recover and died relatively young leaving his wife Frances Wallen and five children. One of those children was my Grandmother, Oda Youree. The two Youree cousins returned after the war to Shrevesport, LA. where they became prominent citizens. There is a Youree Blvd. in Shrevesport.
