Joyce: I must have seen the land grant at the TSLA while searching for something else.

I remember something like this: "1,000 acres north of Cumberland River on a Creek called Cripple." Surely, I did not make that up. I think the reason I remember it is the fact that Cripple Creek is about 75 miles north of the Cumberland River near the now Cannon County line and very near the edge of the Military Reservation. How did Francis ever find it???

The Youree's appear to have also settled in Sumner Co., TN
