Hi there!I have your Minerva as the daughter of Patrick S. Youree/Elizabeth Anthony Patterson, who married 16 May 1866.
Patrick S. was born about 1840 and was the son of Alexander C. Youree/Minerva C. Ferrell. They married 15 Nov 1838.Alexander was the son of Patrick Youree/Ripsey Chapman...This Patrick was the son of Alexander Youree/Mary who moved to Sumner Co. in the very early 1800's from Mecklenburg Co. NC.
Will be happy to send you the misc. information I have collected on Alexander/Mary and their descendants...much of it is still conjecture since I'm still hopelessly entanged with trying to sort out the Sumner Co. & Rutherford Co. Yourees who seemed "stuck" on some of the same given names for children born about the same time...Patrick, however, was a given name used only in the Sumner Co. line, best I can tell... perhaps it was a family name of Alexander's wife, Mary?
USGENWEB.org has an absolutely wonderful county page for Sumner County with lots of records posted (at least last time I looked at it which was some time ago). The Sumner County Yourees were a little bit better about leaving a paper trail than the Rutherford Co. Yourees - though it is still quite confusing when cousins started intermarrying and/or moving to Missiouri!
Let me know if you want me to send you the family group sheets for Alexander and his descendants...
