According to the Court Minutes of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina February 1823 : "Power of Attorney from James Yourie, Isabella (Hartt) Youree, Samuel Wilson, Ann Wilson, Jane Neely, and Elizabeth Harrt. Heirs of Joseph Hartt, Decd., to James Porter, Junr., impowering and authorising Said Porter to act for their interest in Settling and to auditing their parts of Said estate, bearing the date of the 12t of October 1813, proven in Court by Hugh McDowell". Does the name James Porter of N. C. mean anything to you?
