Thank you for the reply to my message.
My David W. Youngkin was born July 1 1820. Trying to find his parents names has been my nemesis for the last 15 years. On the Monroe site there is a record for a 1817 Tax list for a Henry Yonkee I believe the E is a typo error and should be an N.Elisabeth and Charles two of Henry Jr and Anna Maria Junghenchildren are found in the Kunkeltown area.Maria is buried at St Mathews UCC Kunkelktown cemetery. The tax record was for Ross Twp. Once part of Chestnut Hills Twp in Northampton County. Now Ross is in Monroe County. All I know on my line so far is:
David W. Youngkin b. 1820 md Lovina Greenzweig b. 1824 Kunkeltown,
Monroe Co,
Robert J Youngkin b. 1848 md Barbara Christman b. 1850 Carbon Co, Pa
Allen EYoungkin b. 1878 md Alvina Hubbard Mpls. Mn
CharlesYoungkin b. 1907 md Lillian Martin Mpls. Mn
Then Me, Connie
David and Levina are buried in the Trachville Cemetery, Carbon, Co Palmerton, Pa.
Robert is buried in Mpls. Mn his wife.Barbara went back to Pa when she
was diagnosed with cancer in 1900 she is buried in the Christman Cemetery, Christman, Pa.
Allen was born in Mauch Chunk, Pa.Now Jim Thorpe, Pa. Both Allen and Alvina are buried in Minnesota.
David and Levina lived in Kunkeltown in the 1860 census with thier children Reuben,
William, Robert, Samuel, David, Charles, Martha J.They lived in Eldred
Twp. Ross was split again and they ended up in Eldred At one time this was all Chestnut HillsTwp in Northampton County. In 1843 and 1846 part of Northampton was split into Monroe and Carbon.Nobody moved just the Twp. names changed.
Elizabeth thier daughter lived there she first married a Andree then a Deihl/Deal.Also a Charles Youngkin lived there
and had two of his children bapt. at the church in Kunkeltown.Does any of this sound familier to any of your information?Again thanks for the reply.Connie
