I have ancestors from the Yonge line and I am trying to locate the connection due to conflicting info I am seeing on the internet. I am hoping you might be able to help me. I have a book that was written in the 1950's connecting my family to Tudor Trevor. According to the line the book shows it as this: Ierwerth and Margaret Yonge, Morgan Yong, Jenken Yong, Morys Yong, Richard Yong, Edwin Yong, Ellis Yong, Sir Richard Yong and then John Young that married Kitty Bruce. It says that we descend from the line of John Young and Kitty Bruce. As the book goes, it would seem that John Young is the son of Sir Richard Yong who was also listed as the gentleman of the bedchamber of James II of England. But this is were I can't get the definite connection due to finding other info on the internet showing different parents for John Young. If you have any thing that would help please let me know.
Thank You
