Caly Youngs is mentioned in the YOUNGS GENEALOGY (of Southold, N.Y.) on page 347. The source of this is the "Records of the First Church of Southold" (Aug. 11, 1776 and later). Also see Intestate record of Daniel Youngs, cooper of Brookhaven, Jan. 15, 1802. Sources for her mother's ancestry may be found in "Refugees of 1776 from L.I. to Conn. " by Mather (page 279) and "Tuttle-Tuthill Lines in America" by Alva M. Tuttle (page 407). Ancestry of this Daniel Youngs is unknown to me at this time. The Youngs of Southold will be having a Reunion on Columbus Day weekend in 2000.
