Peggy - This is in reply your inquiry regarding the Youngmans. I am a decendant of Peter Youngman of Argo,Alabama. His tombstone at the Argo Presbyterian Curch Cemetery gives the following: Born 12/24/1845; died 1/26/1918.His wife Annie Mink and sons James C. Youngman b. 4/17/1883; d.4/12/1952 and Joe Youngman b.3/10/1877;d. 12/13/1954.His daughter Francis Youngman King b.1/22/1870; d.11/18/1925 is also buried in the cemetery. Francis "Fannie" was my great grandmother. Fannie, had sixteen children. A Gladys Youngman Johnston is also burried in the cemetery. My parents told me that Peter operated a saw mill in Argo. A book written about the King Family says that Peter was born in Germany. It appears that this is the Peter you are looking for,I would appreciate any additional information you may have on Peter and the Youngman's.

Yours Truly,
Jim Lyons
