There was a Thomas Younger in Essex Co., VA on 3 May 1735. He and a Samuel Fargeson witnessed a deed from a William Acres (an alternate spelling for this family is "Acree") to a Charles Barnett.
On 3 Dec 1740, a Thomas Younger (perhaps/probably the same man) in King and Queen Co., VA sold land that he owned back in Essex Co., VA to a Timothy Driscoll, and a Thomas Barker, a John Croxton and a Henry Brown were witnesses. This land had originally been purchased by Thomas Younger's father Alexander Younger from Leonard Hill and Richard Jones, and this land was near to land owned by William Aylett and John Croxton.
I see from some other posts that this Younger family married into the Mills family. Two older female Brown relatives of the Henry Brown referenced above also married into the Mills family in Essex Co., VA (these Brown women were daughters of the Francis Brown "I" who died in Essex Co., VA around 1691/1682). This Brown family also married into the referenced Jones and Fargeson/Ferguson families, and the Browns apparenly also married into the referenced Croxton family (the given name of "Aris" was used in both families).
I see some clues that a "Barnett female descendant" of the Charles Barnett mentioned above MAY have also married into this Brown family (the given names of "Barnett" and "Charles" were eventually used in this Brown family, for no other APPARENT reason), but there is no proof of that at this time. Some of the Browns in this family in Essex Co., VA also moved to King and Queen Co., VA, but I don't know of any marriage between them and the Younger family. Comments?
